Basis of Sale:
In 2004, the residents of Greeley, Colorado passed a referendum to make public safety improvements to their city. The plan included a state-of-the-art Police Department and in May, 2006, the city broke ground for the new facility.

Bill Schuster of Certified Business Services received the Reed Construction Data lead, and immediately followed up with a visit to the design firm hired by the City of Greeley.

The success of this project hinged on using every bit of the facility's allocated space to store evidence, weapons, uniforms and general supplies. Bill suggested exploiting the full height of the room as well, so he designed multiple Aurora Office 1000 Mobile Systems at a full 12' in height.

The largest of the systems is 28' in depth and 115' in length. Oversized evidence is stored vertically in special bin dividers that are 24" x 60" in height. Narcotics evidence is kept in a third Aurora Mobile System in a separate room with even greater security.

Bill Schuster was up against some healthy competition, a manufacturer that tried to take the job direct. He bested the competition with an unusual design that was more competitively priced.

The Information Officer at Greeley Policy stated "....the mobile systems are primarily used in the evidence storage area and have been adapted to store everything you can think of that would come into us as evidence. Our evidence techs are very happy with them."
